Faster payments and eCommerce in the cloud among topics to be
showcased

participation at Ellucian Live 2018, the largest user event in higher
education technology. This year, Ellucian Live will be held on April
8-11 in San Diego, Calif.
ACI experts will speak on topics including faster payments and eCommerce
in the Cloud as well as other emerging technologies shaping the future
of campus commerce.
Marc Sczesnak, director, product management, will participate in a
solution showcase titled: “Future of Commerce to Your Campus,” at 12:45
– 1 p.m. Monday, Apr. 9.
During this session, attendees will discover ways to simplify financial
interactions on campus through the cloud, including easy billing,
payment and collections. The discussion will comprise key methods to
receiving payments 40 times faster and saving 19 percent of staff time
spent on back-office processes.
Gene Scriven, chief information security officer, and Tom Gavin,
solutions executive, will participate in a session titled: “The Future
of eCommerce in the Cloud,” at 9 – 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Apr. 11.
This interactive session will explore the cloud business case that
Ellucian Colleague users, such as ACI customer Ursinus College, use to
protect data, grow revenue and slice costs. Attendees will learn how the
choices in cloud options can result in stark differences in ROI and the
risk of a data breach. Panelists will also discuss the biggest security
threats coming in 2018 and how cloud security stacks up. Additional
speakers include leaders from Ursinus College and Ellucian.
