Success fueled by offering more efficient electronic bill payments
NAPLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
A new report from independent research firm Aite Group has recognized ACI
Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW) as the industry's fastest growing biller
direct electronic
bill payment provider (2009-2012). The report, titled "Biller
Direct and Walk-in Bill Pay: An Update," examines key metrics for
nine major biller direct payment providers—those vendors that enable
billers to accept epayments from consumers via the web, call center and
interactive voice response (IVR).
ACI, which entered the biller direct market through its March 2013
acquisition of Online Resources Corporation, offers ACI Bill Payment
Solutions, an integrated suite of services
that solve the complexity of electronic bill payment. ACI Bill Payment
Solutions enable businesses in consumer finance, insurance and
utilities, among other industries, to offer unmatched consumer
convenience by meeting all consumer payment preferences; they also
generate greater cost savings by integrating all channels and payment
types to streamline operations.
"As payment processing has become ever more complex with growing numbers
of payment channels and methods, funding sources and security concerns,
billers now face added pressures to increase efficiency while enhancing
consumer convenience," said Gwenn Bézard, co-founder and research
director, Aite Group.
"ACI offers a value proposition unmatched in the electronic bill
presentment and payment industry—a single integrated system delivering
streamlined operations that drive efficiency and provide consistent
customer experiences," said Eric Labiak, senior vice president, sales
and marketing, ACI On Demand. "Our growth in this market has been fueled
by meeting billers' demands to offer the most consumer convenience and
replace higher cost manual processes with more efficient electronic bill
payments."
