ACI Worldwide Appoints Paul Thomalla to VP Sales for EMEA
(New York, N.Y. – 23 March 2010) – ACI Worldwide (Nasdaq: ACIW), a leading international provider of electronic payments software and solutions, today announced that Paul Thomalla has joined ACI as V.P. Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Paul comes from Stratus Technologies and brings extensive knowledge and experience in growing sales teams and consistently delivering results.
A 30-year veteran in the technology space, Paul’s career history includes time at IBM and Microsoft, as well as roles in Europe and the U.S. In his most recent role as V.P. for EMEA at Stratus, Paul delivered consistent, significant sales growth, as well as directly contributing to employee satisfaction and motivation. In his role at ACI, Paul will report to Ralph Dangelmaier, president of global markets and services, and he will be responsible for the EMEA sales channel.
