Payments reminds California residents that the first installment of
property taxes is due on December 10, 2014, and can be paid quickly,
easily and securely through OfficialPayments.com.
Local governments in the State of California rely on Official Payments
for real property and personal property tax payments, as well as utility
bills, parking and other miscellaneous city payments.
Property tax payments are currently due and may be paid without interest
and penalty until December 10. California property owners are charged a
10 percent penalty when the tax becomes delinquent. Some counties may
also charge a processing fee in addition to the penalty.
