ACI Worldwide Women Leaders Recognized by Multiple Industry Groups

NAPLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 24, 2019-- ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading global provider of real-time electronic payment and banking solutions, today announced that five of its women leaders have been recognized by multiple industry groups in recent months.

Most recently, Melissa McKendry, vice president, Implementation Services – Retail Banking, was recognized by the UK Women in Payment Symposium 2019 with the Advocate for Women award. In addition, Melissa received the 2018 Positive Troublemaker award from the European Women in Payments Network, which recognizes the achievements of women who exemplify and promote female leadership, diversity and inclusion in the payments industry.

Rawan Shawar, senior software engineer, was selected by Money 20/20 Asia as part of a group of 30 women chosen to be part of the Rise Up program, Class of 2019. In partnership with Women in Payments, Rise Up was created to address the gender imbalance in the leadership positions within the Financial Services and Fintech industries.

Carolyn Homberger, group president, was recognized by PaymentsSource among the Most Influential Women in Payments 2019. Each year, PaymentsSource recognizes women who are creating change and opportunity in the payments industry from around the world. Carolyn was also honored at the U.S. Women in Payments Symposium with the 2019 Rising Star Under 40 award for her leadership and professional excellence in the payments industry.

Erika Dietrich, vice president – Global Fraud Prevention & Risk Services, was selected by the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) as part of its Forty Under 40 class of 2019. The individuals selected for this award represent industry game changers whose actions and leadership are driving the payments technology industry forward. Erika was also honored with the 2018 Young Innovator award, recognizing demonstrated industry innovation.

Sylvie Boucheron-Saunier, senior vice president – Business Development, received the coveted 2018 Payments Woman of the Year award from the European Women in Payments Network. The lifetime achievement award acknowledges Sylvie’s track record of building and transforming businesses, shaping future leaders, and advocating for diversity and inclusion in the industry.
