ACI executives to present on request for pay, faster payments and
cybersecurity
NAPLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 30, 2019--
ACI
Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading global provider of real time electronic
payment and banking solutions, today announced its
participation at NACHA Payments 2019, held May 5-8 in Orlando. ACI will
highlight the latest in faster payments including Request for Pay and
the operational impact of faster payments on organizations. In addition,
ACI will spotlight strategies to overcome cyber threats.
Dean Wallace, practice lead, Real-Time and Digital Payments, will
participate in a session titled, “Request for Payment: Making Payments
Contextual,” in the Crystal J room from 9:30 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. Monday,
May 6.
This session will highlight how noncard, digital payments are sweeping
the planet on the back of payment infrastructure modernization. The
industry is seeking ways to leverage new digital technologies and strip
cost out of the payments ecosystem. Request for Payment brings noncard,
digital and fast payments into the hands of consumers and businesses,
making payments contextual. Additional speakers include George Evers,
senior vice president, Product, Real-Time Infrastructure and Commercial
Applications, Vocalink, and Peter Andrew Davey, Head of Innovation, The
Clearing House.
Gene Scriven, chief information security officer, will participate in a
session titled, “Cyber Spotlight: Strategies to Recognize and Overcome
Cyber Threats,” in the Crystal H room from 1:00 p.m. – 1:50 p.m. Monday,
May 6.
This session will explore the evolution of cybersecurity risks.
Cybersecurity threats run rampant and oftentimes the non-technical
threats are just as dangerous as high-tech vulnerabilities. Attacks can
sweep quickly from the organization to clients, vendors and other
stakeholders. Additional speakers include Stephanie Zee, head of Cyber
Risk for Payments and Receivables, Citi.
Mahala Johnson, director of product management, will moderate a session
titled, “Operational Impact of Faster Disbursements,” in the Crystal D-F
room from 8:00 a.m. – 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, May 8.
Using case studies from early movers in faster payments, this session
will spotlight how organizations can launch faster payments from an
operational standpoint. Although a majority of organizations expect
faster payments to save them money, launching it can be tough for the
operations team. Additional speakers include Eric Froust, senior
director, Product Management, Early Warning, Steve Everett, director,
PayPal and Keith Gray, vice president, The Clearing House.
