A leader with more than twenty years of payments and banking expertise, Mr. Saks serves as ACI’s president & CEO (interim). In his prior role as chief operating officer, he oversaw the day-to-day operation of and coordination among the company’s four operating units: ACI On Demand P&L, Installed P&L, global sales and product development.
Mr. Saks also previously led ACI’s Strategic Products division. His responsibilities included P&L management and driving the performance of the advanced product portfolio, including Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, Retailers, Electronic Bill Payment and Presentment, Payments Risk Management, Payment Hubs, Payments Tools and all associated channels, including mobile and online.
Before becoming part of the ACI team, Mr. Saks held senior-level positions at S1 Corporation (acquired by ACI), Fundamo (acquired by Visa) and PWC. Eve Aretakis is group president, billers & merchants and is responsible for the ACI On Demand business, including ACI’s data center. Ms. Aretakis is accountable for delivering market-leading value to our biller customers in the U.S. and our merchant customers across the globe with payment solutions deployed in our data center or in the public cloud. ACI offerings include the ACI Speedpay bill pay solution for the Auto Finance, Government, Higher Education, Insurance, Mortgage, Utilities and Telecom verticals and the ACI Secure eCommerce solution for both merchants and payment service providers (PSPs).
Prior to her current role, Ms. Aretakis led Product Development & Delivery for ACI, overseeing software engineering, software product management and architecture for our Universal Payments product portfolio as well as solution delivery in ACI’s data center. Ms. Aretakis previously led P&Ls within leading technology companies. She served as executive vice president at Unify/Siemens Enterprise Communications, where her responsibilities included P&L management and accountability for software development, product management and manufacturing of the global product portfolio. She also served as president of IP network solutions at Siemens, unit president of the company’s U.S. carrier division and as executive vice president at Unisphere Networks.
Ms. Aretakis began her career as a software engineer for Texas Instruments and Raytheon. She quickly transitioned into Product Management and then progressed into executive management roles of various business units. Mr. Behrens serves as senior executive vice president, chief financial officer of ACI Worldwide. He is responsible for global finance activities at ACI Worldwide. Mr. Behrens joined ACI Worldwide in June 2007. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Behrens served as senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at SITEL Corporation from January 2005 to June 2007. Mike Braatz oversees strategy, product management, product development and corporate marketing for ACI.
Since joining ACI in 2012, Mr. Braatz has held a number of senior product management and operating roles. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and P&L leader for ACI On Demand’s Software as a Service solutions. He previously served as senior vice president and product line manager for ACI’s fraud and risk management solutions.
Prior to joining ACI, Mr. Braatz served as senior vice president at Memento Inc., a provider of fraud management solutions, acquired by FIS in 2012. Earlier in his career, he was a strategy consultant for Bain & Company and before that an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.

Mr. Byrnes serves as executive vice president, general counsel. Prior to ACI in 2003, Mr. Byrnes was an attorney in Bank One's technology group from 2002 to 2003 and before that with Sterling Commerce, an electronic commerce software and services provider, from 1996. Mr. Byrnes began his legal career with Baker & Hostetler, serving as an attorney in that firm from 1991 to 1996. He holds a JD from The Ohio State University College of Law, an MBA from Xavier University and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Case Western Reserve University.Director Since

Ms. Homberger is executive vice president, chief risk officer. In this role, she drives ACI’s risk management vision and strategy, including acquisition integration. Her current focus is on continuing to advance and evolve ACI’s risk management and information security functions to develop a risk management organization that is best in class in the payments industry.
Prior to becoming chief risk officer, Ms. Homberger held a number of senior and operational leadership positions at ACI, including leading global sales, ACI On Demand (the company’s SaaS and Platform business) and customer management and maintenance.
Prior to joining ACI Worldwide in 2006, Ms. Homberger worked at GE Healthcare, where she held finance leadership roles and completed the Financial Management Program (FMP). Ms. Homberger is a board member of the American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC) and Women in Payments. She is also very active in her local community. Mr. Maki serves as executive vice president, treasurer and corporate development officer of ACI Worldwide. He is responsible for the global corporate development and treasury activities at ACI. Mr. Maki joined ACI Worldwide in June 2006. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Maki served as senior vice president for Stephens, Inc., from 1999 through May 2006. From 1994 to 1999, Mr. Maki was a director in the corporate finance group at Arthur Andersen and from 1991 to 1994, he was a senior consultant at Andersen Consulting. Jeremy Wilmot is group president, banks & intermediaries and is responsible for the ACI On Premise business. Mr. Wilmot is accountable for delivering market leading value to banks and payment intermediaries around the world through the rapid deployment of ACI’s payment solutions in the customer’s data center or the cloud via ACI’s data center or public cloud providers. ACI offerings include digital payments solutions for retail banks and corporate banks that are underpinned by payments intelligence and fraud monitoring systems. Mr. Wilmot is responsible for the end-to-end customer experience for any bank or payment intermediary customer globally.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Wilmot held a number of senior leadership roles at ACI, including executive vice president, chief marketing and revenue officer, senior vice president and managing director for the Americas, president for the Asia-Pacific and regional director for Western Europe and Africa. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wilmot worked for ICL (now Fujitsu) in several capacities, including as international sales manager for financial services.
