Philip G. Heasley

ACI Worldwide, Inc.

Mr. Heasley was named president and CEO of ACI Worldwide in March 2005. He has more than 30 years in payment systems and financial services. Before joining the company, he was chairman and CEO of Paypower, LLC. From 2000 to 2003, he was chairman and CEO of First USA Bank, the credit card subsidiary of Bank One. Prior to joining First USA Bank, Mr. Heasley spent 13 years in executive positions at U.S. Bancorp, including six years as vice chairman and the last two years as president and chief operating officer. Before joining U.S. Bancorp, Mr. Heasley spent 13 years at Citicorp, including three years as president and COO of Diners Club, Inc.

Mr. Heasley served as chairman of the board of Visa USA from 1996 until November 2003 and was a member of the board of Visa International during the same period. Mr. Heasley also serves, or has served, as a director of Fidelity National Financial, Inc., Ohio Casualty Corporation, Fair Isaac Corporation, Kintera Inc., The Schwan Food Company, Inc., and Public Radio International. Mr. Heasley holds an MBA from Bernard Baruch Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Marist College.

    Ms. Aretakis leads product development at ACI. In this role, she oversees software engineering, software product management and architecture for ACI’s Universal Payments product portfolio.

    Prior to joining ACI, Ms. Aretakis was executive vice president at Unify/Siemens Enterprise Communications. Her responsibilities included P&L management and accountability for software development, product management and manufacturing of the global product portfolio. She previously served as president of IP network solutions at Siemens, unit president of the company’s U.S. carrier division and as executive vice president at Unisphere Networks.

    Eve began her career as a software engineer for Texas Instruments and Raytheon. She transitioned to Product Management as she progressed into management roles of various business units. Ms. Aretakis holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Economics from Union College.

      Mr. Behrens serves as senior executive vice president, chief financial officer of ACI Worldwide. He is responsible for global finance activities at ACI Worldwide.  Mr. Behrens joined ACI Worldwide in June 2007. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Behrens served as senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at SITEL Corporation from January 2005 to June 2007. He also served as vice president of Financial Reporting at SITEL Corporation from April 2003 to January 2005. From 1993 to 2003, Mr. Behrens served as a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Mr. Behrens holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

        Mike Braatz serves as ACI’s chief marketing and solutions officer, maximizing value creation for ACI customers and shareholders through innovative marketing and solution strategies. Mr. Braatz oversees strategic marketing activities, solution portfolio and roadmap strategies, and the development and communication of ACI’s corporate strategy.

        Since joining ACI in 2012, Mr. Braatz has held a number of senior leadership positions. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and P&L lead for ACI On Demand’s Software as a Service solutions. He previously served as senior vice president and product line manager for ACI On Demand and for ACI’s Payments Risk Management solution.

        Prior to joining ACI, Mr. Braatz served as senior vice president of Marketing and Product Management at Memento Inc., a provider of enterprise fraud management solutions that was acquired by Fidelity National Information Services Inc. in 2012. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant for Bain & Company, working with clients in the software and financial services industries.

        Mr. Braatz began his professional career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he attained the rank of Captain and was decorated for outstanding leadership and performance. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.

          Mr. Byrnes serves as executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel.  He joined ACI in 2003 as its general counsel.  Prior to ACI, Mr. Byrnes was an attorney in Bank One's technology group from 2002 to 2003 and before that with Sterling Commerce, an electronic commerce software and services provider, from 1996.  Mr. Byrnes began his legal career with Baker & Hostetler, serving as an attorney in that firm from 1991 to 1996.  He holds a JD from The Ohio State University College of Law, an MBA from Xavier University and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Case Western Reserve University.

            Daniel Frate is group president of the ACI On Demand (AOD) business. In this role, Mr. Frate oversees ACI’s SaaS and Platform business, which includes single and multi-tenant payment solutions for retailers, large financial institutions, community financial institutions, billers and payment service providers. The AOD portfolio also includes ACI’s ReD and Proactive Risk Manager fraud detection solutions. Mr. Frate is also responsible for ACI’s global data center operations.

            Prior to assuming his AOD leadership role, Mr. Frate led the Customer Management and Maintenance business. He joined ACI in 2012 and led the Strategic Products business until 2014.

            Mr. Frate came to ACI from PNC, where he served as executive vice president of retail products. He joined PNC through the acquisition of National City Bank, where he served as vice chairman of the retail bank. Earlier in his career, he was the president of BankOne Card Services and vice chairman of Payment Services at U.S. Bank.

            Mr. Frate is a member of the board of John Carroll University and of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University. He holds a M.S. in Finance from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from John Carroll University.

              Ms. Homberger is executive vice president, chief risk officer. In this role, she drives ACI’s risk management vision and strategy, including acquisition integration. Her current focus is on continuing to advance and evolve ACI’s risk management and information security functions to develop a risk management organization that is best in class in the payments industry.

              Prior to becoming chief risk officer, Ms. Homberger held a number of senior and operational leadership positions at ACI, including leading global sales, ACI On Demand (the company’s SaaS and Platform business) and customer management and maintenance.

              Prior to joining ACI Worldwide in 2006, Ms. Homberger worked at GE Healthcare, where she held finance leadership roles and completed the Financial Management Program (FMP). Ms. Homberger is a board member of the American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC) and Women in Payments. She is also very active in her local community. She is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified and holds her MBA from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science from Miami University.

                Mr. Kuhl brings more than 25 years of global HR experience to his role as ACI's chief human resources officer (CHRO). A compassionate and innovative driver of people strategy, he is focused on positioning ACI's HR function to support our leadership of the real-time, any-to-any transformation in the global payments ecosystem.

                Prior to joining ACI, Mr. Kuhl was chief people officer at ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a $1 billion revenue collision repair consolidator, and chief human resources officer at ABB Enterprise Software, a global leader in enterprise software for the energy and utility industries. He also served as senior vice president, human resources and chief learning officer at First Data Corporation, and he held several senior level HR positions while at UnitedHealth Group.

                Earlier in his career, Mr. Kuhl was an employment attorney and consultant to Fortune 500 companies. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.A. in economics from the University of Minnesota.

                  Mr. Maki serves as executive vice president, treasurer and corporate development officer of ACI Worldwide. He is responsible for the global corporate development and treasury activities at ACI. Mr. Maki joined ACI Worldwide in June 2006. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Maki served as senior vice president for Stephens, Inc., from 1999 through May 2006. From 1994 to 1999, Mr. Maki was a director in the corporate finance group at Arthur Andersen and from 1991 to 1994, he was a senior consultant at Andersen Consulting. Mr. Maki holds his MBA from the University of Denver and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming.

                    A leader with more than twenty years of payments and banking expertise, Mr. Saks serves as ACI’s chief operating officer. In this role, he oversees the day-to-day operation of and coordination among the company’s four operating units: ACI On Demand P&L, Installed P&L, global sales and product development.

                    Prior to assuming the role of COO, Mr. Saks led ACI’s Strategic Products division. His responsibilities included P&L management and driving the performance of the advanced product portfolio, including Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, Retailers, Electronic Bill Payment and Presentment, Payments Risk Management, Payment Hubs, Payments Tools and all associated channels, including mobile and online.

                    Before becoming part of the ACI team, Mr. Saks held senior-level positions at S1 Corporation (acquired by ACI), Fundamo (acquired by Visa) and PWC. Mr. Saks holds a Master of Commerce from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Science from the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University).

                      Mr. Scotto is senior executive vice president, chief of staff. In this role, he serves as a member of the senior leadership team, partnering closely with other senior leaders and representing the voice of the customer across the business. His focus is on guiding and supporting a variety of programs and initiatives designed to help ACI execute its strategic and operational plans. His experience and deep understanding of ACI’s objectives enable him to work cross-functionally on behalf of ACI’s customers.

                      Prior to becoming chief of staff, Mr. Scotto served as ACI’s chief risk officer. He also led the Corporate IT and Acquisition Integration units and has served as a champion for innovation across the company.

                      Mr. Scotto previously led product development operations at ACI, including architecture and design, software engineering and quality assurance for ACI’s strategic product portfolio. In addition, he launched ACI’s global network of development centers to fuel the sharing of research and best practices across product teams and divisions. 

                      Mr. Scotto has more than 35 years of experience running global product development organizations. He has held executive leadership positions at large technology corporations, including Oracle and EMC, and he has also enjoyed the challenge of leading product development for several startup companies where he contributed to rapid growth and operational scalability. Mr. Scotto holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut and is a graduate of Northeastern University’s Executive Management Program.

                        Jeremy Wilmot is Group President of the ACI On Premise business. Mr. Wilmot is accountable for delivering market leading value to banks, merchants and payment intermediaries around the world through the rapid deployment of ACI’s payment software in the customer’s data center, in the public cloud or through a hybrid model. The ACI On Premise portfolio includes payment engine software for retail banks, corporate banks and merchants that are underpinned by payments intelligence and fraud monitoring systems. Mr. Wilmot is responsible for the end-to-end customer experience for any ACI On Premise customer.

                        Prior to his current role, Mr. Wilmot held a number of senior leadership roles at ACI, including executive vice president, chief marketing and revenue officer, senior vice president and managing director for the Americas, president for the Asia-Pacific and regional director for Western Europe and Africa. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wilmot worked for ICL (now Fujitsu) in several capacities, including as international sales manager for financial services.

                        Mr. Wilmot holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies from Oxford Brookes University in the U.K. and has completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in France.
