Mr. Almeida was appointed ACI’s president, chief executive officer and member of the Board of Directors in March 2020. Mr. Almeida is a seasoned executive with senior leadership experience spanning multiple industries and countries, two decades of payments experience and a strong track record of growth acceleration and value creation.
Prior to joining ACI, Mr. Almeida most recently served as an operating partner at Advent International, one of the world’s largest private equity funds, supporting business development at the fund’s portfolio companies, with a particular focus on growth initiatives that support higher sales and earnings.
During his 17-year tenure at The Western Union Company, Mr. Almeida advanced through a series of general management roles of increasing responsibility. He last served as president of Global Money Transfer. In this role, Almeida led Western Union’s $5 billion consumer business across more than 200 countries and was integral to proactively expanding the company’s digital footprint and growing digital revenues meaningfully and profitably while positioning the company as a global digital leader in money transfer.
Mr. Almeida is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He serves on the Board of Millicom International Cellular S.A. and is a member of the Compliance and Business Conduct Committee. Mr. Almeida holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Centro Universitário Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia in São Paulo and a Master of Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo. He extended his education at Harvard Business School, The Wharton School and the International Institute of Management (IMD).

Eve Aretakis is ACI’s chief revenue officer. In this role, she leads ACI’s commercial organization, which is focused on driving organic growth globally through sales effectiveness, a targeted go-to-market strategy and superior customer service.
Since joining ACI in 2016, Ms. Aretakis has held a number of executive leadership roles at the company. Most recently, she served as group president of our billers & merchants P&L and was responsible for driving growth and delivering market-leading value to customers through payment solutions deployed in our data center or in the public cloud. Previously, Ms. Aretakis led product development & delivery for ACI, overseeing software engineering, software product management and architecture for our product portfolio.
Prior to joining ACI, Ms. Aretakis served as executive vice president at Unify/Siemens Enterprise Communications, where her responsibilities included P&L management and accountability for software development, product management and manufacturing. She also served as president of IP network solutions at Siemens, unit president of the company’s U.S. carrier division and as executive vice president at Unisphere Networks. She began her career as a software engineer for Texas Instruments and Raytheon.

As ACI’s chief financial officer, Scott Behrens is responsible for the company’s global financial activities, including reporting, investments and capital structure.
Prior to joining ACI in 2007, Mr. Behrens served as senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at SITEL Corporation from January 2005 to June 2007. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president of Financial Reporting at SITEL Corporation and as a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

Dennis Byrnes is ACI’s Chief Legal Officer. He serves on the executive team and oversees all legal matters.
Prior to joining ACI in 2003, Mr. Byrnes was an attorney in Bank One's technology group from 2002 to 2003 and before that with Sterling Commerce, an electronic commerce software and services provider, from 1996. He began his legal career with Baker & Hostetler, serving as an attorney in that firm from 1991 to 1996.

With more than three decades of leadership experience in human resources, talent and development, Mr. Dinkins serves as ACI’s chief human resources officer. In his role, he leads the company’s global HR team and talent strategy.
Mr. Dinkins previously served as chief human resources officer at Fiesta Restaurant Group, which operates leading U.S.-based restaurant brands, employing more than 12,000 team members. Prior to Fiesta, he served as senior vice president of human resources at Cable & Wireless Communications, a leading telecommunications company with more than 7,000 employees across 26 countries. He also held senior HR roles at global organizations including Citrix Systems, AVAYA and Lucent Technologies.

Bruce Kleinsteuber is ACI’s chief strategy and transformation officer. In this role, he leads ACI’s strategy & transformation organization, which is responsible for the company’s strategic planning process and change management programs.
Before joining ACI, Mr. Kleinsteuber served as senior vice president of finance at Western Union, where he led company-wide planning and strategic financial decision support, helping develop the company’s long-term strategy and operating plan while acting as a key advisor to the executive leadership team. Prior to that he served as chief financial officer for Western Union’s Global Money Transfer business, a position he advanced to after leading finance for the Americas and Europe region of Western Union’s Money Transfer business.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Kleinsteuber spent ten years at American Express, where he held numerous financial leadership positions, including lead financial officer for the company’s International Payment Options business. He also worked as a pricing and financial analyst at IBM. He began his professional life as a software engineer at The Boeing Company. He holds his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville and his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

Craig Maki is responsible for the global corporate development and treasury activities at ACI. Prior to joining the company in 2006, Mr. Maki served as senior vice president for Stephens Inc. from 1998 through May 2006. Earlier in his career, he worked in the corporate finance group at Arthur Andersen and at Andersen Consulting.

Johan Roets is ACI’s chief administrative officer. In this role, he provides executive leadership and strategic guidance for key organizational support functions, including Corporate IT, Facilities, Real Estate and Communications, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Brand.
Prior to taking on his current role, Mr. Roets served as ACI’s chief transformation officer, leading the company’s 2020-2021 organizational transformation. He joined ACI in 2018 as chief of staff to the CEO and head of shared services.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Roets spent 11 years with the Standard Bank Group in various leadership roles in payments and retail banking. He was also a partner with Arthur Andersen & Co. and led the company’s Africa practice in cybersecurity consulting.

Ram Puppala is ACI’s chief technology officer. In this role, he leads ACI’s technology & operations organization, which is focused on developing and running our world-class payments software products.
Prior to joining ACI, Mr. Puppala served as Chief Digital Officer of Metropolitan Commercial Bank, where he led the digital payment product portfolio. Prior to that he served as Chief Technology Officer at State Street Global Exchange, where he scaled Agile methodology and DevOps capabilities across the organization. He also served as Chief Information Officer for Technology & Customer Operations at Fiserv Investment Services and as Chief Technology Officer for Fiserv Global Payment Solutions. In these roles, his responsibilities included P&L management, R&D budget ownership and accountability for software development, enterprise architecture and multi-platform development.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Puppala held technology leadership roles at FNSTAR, a company he helped found, and E*TRADE Financial Group. He began his career handling QA for the portfolio risk analysis application at Goldman Sachs before becoming a developer at AT&T. He holds his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Pune and is completing his Executive MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management.Director Since

Jeremy Wilmot is ACI’s chief product officer. In this role, he leads ACI’s product management organization, which is focused on strategically deploying our world-class products to maximize growth and profitability. He is well versed in ACI’s unique product portfolio and uses that knowledge to ensure our products are best addressing the needs of the market and the needs of the customers in our three core segments—banks & financial intermediaries, merchants and billers.
Mr. Wilmot joined ACI in 1999 and has held a number of executive and senior leadership roles at the company. Most recently, he served as group president of our banks & intermediaries P&L and was responsible for delivering market leading value to banks and payment intermediaries around the world. Previously, Mr. Wilmot was ACI’s chief marketing and revenue officer, managing director for the Americas and president for Asia-Pacific. He began his career at ACI as regional director for Western Europe and Africa. Prior to joining ACI, Mr. Wilmot worked for ICL (now Fujitsu) in several capacities, including as international sales manager for financial services.
Mr. Wilmot is a member of the board of Mindgate Solutions and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies from Oxford Brookes University in the U.K. He has completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in France.Director Since
